Our designers have found this style to run noticeably larger than our Relaxed Everywhere Pant. Consider sizing down or choosing Slim Fit if you don't want the extra room.View full details
We’ve veered off the traditional lines of workwear because we demand more. Meet the unwork pants in a relaxed fit – durable and designed for movement. Because sometimes you play harder than you work.
At 686 we understand that sustainability is not a destination but a way of behaving that aims to lessen our impact on the planet. For us, however, sustainability does not end there. We are committed to the fair and equitable treatment of everyone along our supply chain. Our commitment to people and the planet guides us.

Built for movement — a looser, roomier play on our standard Relaxed Fit.
686's most durable fabrication to date and fused with gloriously stretchy and breathable DNA, Unwork Fabric embodies the blurred lines between work and play. Built for weekday and weekend warriors alike, Unwork is durable enough for the job site and wearable enough for the bike ride home.
Strategically placed throughout a garment, 500D Nylon gives you rugged durability where you need it most while allowing the rest of the pant or jacket to benefit from the advanced mobility that 686 has infused it with. Belt loops, pocketing, cuffs, and other tear zones will now stand the test of labor and time.
Ultraviolet Protection Factor gauges a fabric's effectiveness at filtering both ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB) light. In everyday terms, a rating of UPF 40+ means the fabric allows less than 2.5% UV transmission. UPF-rated clothing enhances protection against UV-related health risks. Increase your personal safety and decrease your reliance on sunscreen by covering up with our UPF-rated clothing.
DWR (Durable Water Repellency) coating is the outermost finish applied to exclusive 686 fabrics increasing their contact angle and thus repelling water while maintaining high breathability. DWR also helps repel stains and oils that can damage your garment's surface.
